Overview AssetLink's mission is to optimize the velocity with which assets are managed through each phase of the Real Estate Owned (REO) process. Using ServiceLink's existing "Start-to-finish," property-closing technology, originally created with the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.0, the technology team wanted to improve and expand the solution for bank-owned, real estate liquidation. To build its REO management software, the technology team needed development tools that would allow it to improve the ability of its solution to integrate with applications and services throughout the enterprise, as well as provide more robust data management and reporting capabilities. The technology team chose Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and the .NET Framework 2.0 to design and build the REO management software.
