IT Services Consultancy Maximizes Billable Hours With New IT Infrastructure
Overview WM-data provides IT services to firms in the Nordic countries of Northern Europe. Acquired by the LogicaCMG Group, an international IT services company, WM-data wanted to increase efficiency to maximize available billable hours. The firm used different versions of the Windows operating system and stored information in difficult-to-search e-mail folders and network file shares. To simplify IT management and improve knowledge sharing companywide, WM-data is upgrading to the Windows Vista operating system and to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. It is also, concurrently with LogicaCMG, implementing a new information management system based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
