SAFLINK and Computer Associates Team Up to Bring Password Protection Into the 21st Century
Overview SAFLINK Corporation, based in Bellevue, Washington, provides biometric software solutions that secure business and personal information through the use of biometric authentication. SAFLINK's SAFaccess, a biometric authentication security framework, was one of the first applications to be certified ca smart with eTrust Single Sign-On (eTrust SSO) from Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). eTrust SSO consolidates a user's many passwords into one, thereby eliminating the security headaches, system vulnerabilities and administrative overhead associated with multiple IDs/passwords. SAFaccess then replaces the remaining password with a biometric authentication device, such as a fingerprint reader.
