Video Company Completes Projects Up to 10 Percent Faster With Collaboration Tool

Overview Video On Location (VOLi) wanted to improve how it coordinated video production projects. Previously, VOLi did not have a central location for storing and sharing elements such as audio tracks, video files, and animations. As a result, staff members had problems with version control and lacked a method for showing clients videos in progress. The company solved its problems by deploying Groove Virtual Office, now part of the Microsoft Office System. VOLi uses Groove workspaces to manage the entire video production process and to communicate and collaborate internally and with clients. Groove workspaces provide employees easy access to project files, which are automatically synchronized when workers make changes.
