Netherlands Institute Expands Messaging Options With Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

Overview When Openbarr Voortgezet Onderwijs (OVO) Haarlem, a training institute in the Netherlands, began to prepare for a merger with a similar institution, Noordzee Onderwijs Groep, the IT staff began searching for an updated messaging system. Because students use e-mail messaging, instant messaging, and voice mail in their personal lives, OVO Haarlem wanted to provide those services for its students and faculty. With the help of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Wortell, the institute deployed Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The deployment met all expectations. It provided an efficient unified messaging system that could scale up to support thousands of students and personnel, while offering enhanced Web-based access and efficient mailbox management.
