Keeping Students and Faculty Connected
Overview Swarthmore College, a premiere liberal arts college with 1450 students located in the suburban Philadelphia area, had no choice but to use a VoIP system when it set up new offices in a 50-year-old train station near its campus. With no right-of-way to run cabling to the station, and train tracks in the way, the college had to find a way to run voice and data services to people in the new offices. Swarthmore College selected Pingtel's Enterprise SIPxchange PBX for deployment because it met their two main criteria: cost and flexibility.
