School District Implements High Availability, Scalable, Cost Effective Open Source IP PBX

Overview Hall-Dale Elementary was overcrowded and needed about $ 750,000 in repairs to its 50-year-old building. Due to time and budgetary constraints, they decided to build a modular school, which was 16,170 sq. ft., but took only 78 days to complete. As a result of the new facility, the school also needed a new phone system. This case study examines how Hall-Dale worked with its trusted Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Central Maine Communications, to research a solution and find the most scalable, easy-to-use, and cost effective system.
