United Heritage Life Insurance Eliminates Spam and Viruses With eTrust Solutions

Overview United Heritage Life Insurance Co. (UH) specializes in the sale and service of quality life insurance, annuity and financial products. UH must comply with government-mandated regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which protects patients' medical records and other health-related information. In addition, spam has become a growing concern. This has introduced many risks to UH's infrastructure, such as new viruses, malicious code and decreased employee productivity. Faced with decreasing productivity as a result of the constant onslaught of unsolicited email and the need to comply with government regulations, UH sought a solution to alleviate this issue. After a brief trial period, UH selected and implemented CA's eTrust Secure Content Manager.
