Spanish Aeronautical Manufacturer Expects CRM Solution to Improve Results

Overview Aeronautical engine and gas turbine manufacturer ITP operates in the public sector through its Defence Programmes division, and the private sector with Civil and Maintenance Programmes. The difference between the two divisions is that Defence Programmes operates in a stable marketplace - predominantly the Spanish Ministry of Defence - whereas Civil and Maintenance Programmes is constantly under pressure to find new customers. In 2003, ITP recognised its information solutions were struggling to support its expanding business, particularly for its sales department. To accommodate its expanding customer base, the sales department needed fast, easy access to contract, service, and client information. At the start of 2005, ITP looked at implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to meet its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) challenges.
