TechNet Webcast: Planning and Deploying the Branch Office Technologies in Windows Server 2003 (Level 200)

Overview This webcast introduces the viewer to some of the new branch office technologies in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2. The viewer will learn about the service architecture and basic operations of the Distributed File System (DFS) Replication engine, which efficiently replicates large amounts of data over a Wide Area Network (WAN). The presenter also covers the Remote Differential Compression (RDC) algorithm, which enables the DFS Replication engine to replicate deltas instead of full files, and other mechanisms designed to optimize replication in challenging environments.
