MSDN Webcast: Overview of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) Application Development APIs (Level 200)

Overview Microsoft offers an array of OnLine Analytical Processing (OLAP) APIs for everything from developing top-notch dedicated OLAP applications to just adding OLAP functionality to the existing applications. This webcast covers the ADOMD.NET object model for OLAP data access, the Analysis Management Objects (AMO) library for OLAP database management, and XMLA for a SOAP-based combination of the two. The presenter also looks at AdomdServer, which makes it possible to store Microsoft .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR) procedures and functions for the OLAP cubes.
