Bank of the Philippine Islands Increases Loan Sales With Integrated CRM System
Overview With 11,000 employees, more than 890 branches, and assets of over US$10 billion, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is the Philippines' second largest commercial bank. In a climate of increased competition and customer demand for quality service, BPI recognized that it had to constantly look for ways to maintain its market-leading position and viewed technology as vital to supporting its business strategy. In 2001, BPI became the first financial institution in the Philippines to implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. The system, based on a range of Siebel CRM applications, helped BPI to standardize internal processes, identify customer needs, and respond to them with speed and flexibility.
