HP e3000 Business Servers: Hardware Conversion Kits for Your HP e3000

Overview HP e3000 Hardware Conversion Kits provide real value for the server investment. The conversion kits, which are available at no cost, enables one to convert the existing HP e3000 A-Class and N-Class server hardware to HP 9000 server hardware simply and easily. Hewlett-Packard offered two different Precision Architecture RISC (PA-RISC) server platforms: HP e3000 servers running the MPE/iX operating system and HP 9000 servers running the HP-UX 11i operating system. Since the MPE/iX and HP-UX operating systems leveraged the same hardware, HP offers customers with the latest HP e3000 platforms the ability to easily convert them to HP 9000 servers.
