Measuring Employee Productivity Gains From e-Workforce Solutions
Overview Intel developed a method to measure the business value of a program that included the deployment of a new version of general office productivity software. The calculated cost reductions associated with increased employee productivity and travel reductions, as a result of deploying the program, known as e-Workforce. Collaboration is a major element of the program - embedding core business processes, such as meetings and team and document management, into new and existing technologies. This paper describes the various measurement techniques that is used, including; Activity logs, Surveys, Interviews, Field study, Laboratory study.
