Sir Speedy Dramatically Increases Large-Format Business With the HP Designjet 5500ps Printer
Overview Over the last three decades the Sir Speedy franchise network has become a leader in the printing industry, providing cost-effective printing, copying and digital networking services. The owner noticed that his existing 36 inch large-format printer was only having three to five jobs - typically one poster at a time - run on it every month. In considering the criteria for a new large-format device the company wanted a faster printer, and one that could utilize outdoor UltraViolet (UV) inks to enable the company to offer production of long-lasting exterior banners. In addition, the company needed to be able to work with a wider range of substrates to present the clients with more choices. The company selected the HP Designjet 5500ps UV printer.
