Overview
This technical paper describes enhancements to the Rich Text Editor (RTE) available in Oracle Application Server Portal 10g Release 2 (10.1.4). The RTE feature, first introduced in Oracle9iAS Portal 9.0.2, enables content contributors to use a WYSIWYG interface for adding images and applying HTML formatting to text items. The OracleAS Portal 10.1.4 RTE provides an improved text item editing experience, including table and JavaScript editing.
