Thin-Client Branch Connectivity Solution for PBDAC

Overview The Principal Bank for Development and Agriculture Credit (PBDAC) is one of Egypt's largest public sector banks, with a branch in almost every town and village in the country. To improve the overall efficiency of the business, PBDAC decided to automate its operations and connect its 1,018 village branches to the main branch network in such a way that financial information could be shared and updated in real time. It opted for a thin client solution based on HP technology. The HP Compaq Thin Client was superior to competitive products from a technical perspective. It was also a proven solution offering excellent price/performance.
