Centea: Server Consolidation Delivers on TCO Expectations

Overview Centea, a member of the financial group KBC, provides complete financial services to customer across Belgium. Faced with mounting server support and maintenance costs, Centea turned to HP for a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction proposal that would deliver measurable results from the start. By consolidating from ten servers in five clustered environments to two more powerful servers in a single cluster, Centea has achieved its TCO reduction goal of 25 percent - without compromising system availability or critical system support services.
