Oracle Case Study: Sonofon

Overview Sonofon was established in 1991 and is today Denmark's second biggest telecommunications company with a million mobile customers and 1,300 employees. Sonofon leases space at a number of locations for the erection of towers and mobile telephony aerials to secure its coverage in Denmark. The many leases and payments involved a great deal of administrative work. The leases contain many details concerning rents, deposits and associated annual adjustments. Lease content was manually checked. Accurate recording required to deal with specific obligations in the leases. There was a risk of mistakes due to manual routines. Oracle Property Manager has enabled Sonofon to automate a number of administrative operations, such as payments and lease renewal.
