OmniVista NMS With PolicyView and OneTouch QOS

Overview Alcatel's OmniVista provides a comprehensive set of capabilities for managing today's enterprise networks. With PolicyView and OneTouch manageability, OmniVista provides a powerful network management platform and an ideal foundation for meeting the challenges of converged networks and next generation applications. Alcatel's PolicyView takes advantage of LDAP directory services to distribute and store the policies, and has the ability to interact with the traffic flows in the switches to dynamically allocate resources based on the current state of the network. This allows network managers to take a proactive role in managing their networks and improves control over users, devices, and network resources. It can also be used to configure VLANs and security policies to further simplify the management across multiple devices in a network.
