Overview Write Image is an innovative marketing services and public relations company, providing structured and expert support to a large number of high-profile technology vendors. The company needed to provide remote e-mail access for all of its London employees to ensure that vital communication could be maintained when staff were out of the office. However, it also needed to bolster the security of its network. In December 2004, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004 was implemented. The solution assisted home workers to access the network and share relevant information in a secure way. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption helps protect e-mails, while application layer filtering searches for known or new application-based attacks within network traffic.
