Generating an XML Document From XML Schema With JAXB

Overview An XML Schema is an XML-based representation of the structure of an XML document. Many J2EE developers use an XML Schema instead of a Document Type Definition (DTD) to generate an XML document; because unlike DTD, XML Schema supports data types and namespaces. An XML document based on an XML Schema is commonly required. The JAXB Class Generator, included in Oracle 10g XML Developer's Kit (XDK) Production for Java (download), is a compiler used to generate Java classes from an XML Schema. (An XML Schema may be constructed using the Oracle JDeveloper 10g XML Schema Editor.)
