Overview Survivorsoft, an Austin, TX-based studio comprised of veteran developers with years of Java, J2ME, and PC experience, develops high-end applications for wireless devices, which emphasize highlighting the capabilities of each device to best effect. The company wanted to develop a satellite-tracking application to address the growing demand for compelling education/reference Pocket PC software, while taking advantage of its experience in Mobile development on the Java platform. Survivorsoft successfully used this experience, and easily transitioned to the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework using C#.
