Software Maker Halves Time-to-Market With Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 Mobile

Overview Misys Healthcare Systems wanted to expand its market for its Misys Homecare solution by enabling it to work with Pocket PCs. The company chose the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 development system because it enabled fast, effective development and used it to build client software based on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition, the .NET Compact Framework 2.0, and Windows Mobile 2003 software. The development solution helped cut time-to-market by 50 percent, enabling Misys to debut its new product at its industry's largest trade show.
