NorthPort Streamlines Operations With Self-Service Employee Kiosks

Overview NorthPort wanted to improve employee sign-in and sign-out procedures so workers could get to their assigned jobs more quickly, with the goal of moving customers and their baggage as fast as possible to their destinations. NorthPort teamed with IBM Global Services - Application Management Services and Worldwide Strategic Outsourcing to pilot a solution that, when fully implemented by late 2005, will include six self-service kiosks at NorthPort ground handling operations. With the IBM solution, NorthPort's employees will be able to easily and quickly sign in and sign out each day at work.
