British Olympic Association Replaces Infrastructure Ahead of London Olympics

Overview The British Olympic Association (BOA) needed to replace its Novell-centric operating system in the run up to the next Olympics and the London 2012 Olympic Games that follows. The BOA was unable to benefit from modern messaging services with its legacy system and wanted to improve its services to British athletes competing for medals. The BOA worked with Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Lynx Technology and deployed an entire Microsoft server infrastructure, managed by Active Directory directory services. The new environment is fit for purpose, scalable, and has been rolled out to all the BOA's training centres.
