Overview
Banco Compartamos, S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple, the number one financial institution in Mexico and Latin America for granting micro loans to small independent businesses, has an aggressive goal of increasing its customer base by over 1 million new customers by 2008. Because there is currently no unified method for creating and updating customer documents and maintaining associated customer records, it is challenging to create a meaningful archive or to find documents quickly. By participating in the Microsoft Rapid Deployment Technology Adoption Program, and with guidance from MicroNext de Mexico, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Compartamos will use new functionality in the 2007 Microsoft Office system to help it overcome document collaboration, records management, security, and workflow challenges.
