Backing Up Exchange With Data Protection Manager

Overview Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM) 2006 can be used to help a person to protect his Exchange Server data. This paper will show how. DPM 2006 was one of the first products to be brought under the umbrella of Microsoft System Center, a family of systems management products. DPM uses the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) to create disk-based protection and recovery for file servers in an Active Directory domain.
