Ciphersoft Improves Application Usability and Development Productivity

Overview McKesson Information Solutions is part of McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 20 healthcare services and information technology company. The company wanted to modernize and migrate the user interface for the primary application environment used by McKesson's Horizon Clinicals development team and improve usability and productivity of the application environment. They wanted to create a more open and flexible IT environment. The company reinvested in Oracle, choosing Oracle ADF and the most recent version of Oracle Forms - a Graphical User Interface-based (GUI) forms solution - to create a user-friendly and more productive development environment. The company worked with Ciphersoft, Inc. to rapidly convert 250 of McKesson's legacy Oracle Forms applications to the new Web-based environment.
