The solution, built by IT FACTORY on the Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server platforms, enables VPNet to manage contacts and enable collaboration between inside and outside sales representatives and resellers in more than 25 countries. VPNet originally approached IT FACTORY to manage its upgrade to Microsoft Windows 2000 and the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server messaging and collaboration platform. IT FACTORY recognized that the Exchange store, the Internet-friendly database component of Exchange 2000 Server, provided a perfect platform for a custom lead-tracking and contact-management application.
