Infoblox Case Study: BigCity Networks

Overview BigCity Networks, Inc. (BCN) is Houston's second largest business ISP and an Internet consulting group that is committed to helping businesses get the most out of their information technology investments. In October 2004, the IT team embarked on a network identity infrastructure technology refresh project, searching for a solution that simplified administration and management; increased system performance and reliability; and improved security. BigCity Networks Inc. selected and deployed in its Houston data center 2 Infoblox appliances running the DNSone package; one serves as a primary device and the other as a secondary back-up unit to maintain service delivery in the unlikely event of an outage.
