Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004 Host-Initiated Processing

Overview The webcast discusses Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004. It talks about innovative technologies, such as TI host-initiated processing. Host-initiated processing offers TCP/IP and SNA listeners that permit a computer running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to function as peers to IBM mainframe and AS/400 computers. For example, CICS programmers can call in to Windows COM+ or .NET server components, just as if they were another CICS transaction program by using familiar programming models such as CICS Distributed Program Link (DPL).
