What's New in the J2EE Connector Architecture 1.5 (Part 2)

Overview This paper is intended for EIS vendors, messaging providers, and developers who want to learn more about the Message Inflow and Transaction Inflow contracts that were introduced in the latest version of the Java 2, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Connector Architecture (Connector 1.5). Since this paper is the second in a two-part series, the resource adapter and system-level contracts will not be discussed in detail. Instead, the paper focuses solely on the two new contracts. Implementation details and specification requirements will be covered, and pseudo-code will be examined to see how an EIS vendor or messaging provider might implement the new contracts for a Connector 1.5-compatible resource adapter.
