An eGovernment Platform Based on Service-Oriented Architecture
Overview Within this expansive regional Spanish government there were wide differences in the criteria for using new technologies as a means of bringing the government closer to the citizens. There was no integration between the different technologies and simple tasks were taking a long time, due to manual processes and duplication within various systems. BEA WebLogic Integration 8.1 and BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 was deployed to create a single point of access through which the general public could find the information they need, using simple, transparent and structured procedures.
