WANSyncHA Helps CPS Ensure Polek & Polek e-Commerce Application Availability

Overview One of the components critical to the smooth operation of Polek & Polek's e-Commerce Web site is the company's SQL server-based VAM (Visual Account Mate) e-Commerce application, which allows visitors to browse its inventory and place orders on-line. Following the August 2003 blackouts on the U.S. East Coast, which occurred as the imaging vendor was expanding its on-line presence, Polek & Polek turned to CPS, a leader in the design and implementation of Internet connectivity and security, toll bypass and multimedia frameworks. Following an extensive evaluation, CPS realized only XOsoft's WANSyncHA suite of application availability solutions would meet with Polek & Polek's objective of replicating large amounts of data through small and consistent updates across limited bandwidth WAN links.
