Packaging Supplier Improves Employee Productivity With New Messaging Infrastructure

Overview Graphic Packaging International, in the midst of a company merger, wanted to provide employees with better tools to help manage their workloads. The company also wanted to consolidate its 15 independent, branch-office Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 - based servers into one centralized server located at its corporate headquarters. Based on its previous success with Exchange Server 5.5, Graphic Packaging International opted to pursue a Microsoft solution that included: Deploying the Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 messaging and collaboration client on all desktop computers; Adding Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access (OWA) to the network environment; Migrating 1,700 e-mail and 1,800 Lotus mailboxes to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, running on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system.
