Easy-to-Use Information Protection Solution Helps Food Manufacturer Stay Competitive
Overview To compete in the food industry, Podravka must keep sales and financial information confidential. After sensitive data was published in a newspaper, Podravka piloted Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) for the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system, with the help of Microsoft Services Croatia. The company also implemented a third-party product (eBoard by eVision Information Systems) that automatically applies Windows RMS to data on a Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Web site. The pilot project is still in process but Podravka has already experienced several benefits. The easy-to-use solution helps safeguard confidential information in documents, e-mail messages, and on the SharePoint Web site.
