Waitrose Manages Its Expanding IT Infrastructure With Touchpaper

Overview The first Waitrose supermarket was opened in 1955 and today there are 174 branches with a further 5 branches opening in May and June, 2006, dedicated to offering quality, value and customer service. As Wallace recalls, the original system for handling requests for IT support was far from perfect. Based on Lotus Notes, it often took much longer to log calls than actually to fix the problem and, unsurprisingly, not all support call details were captured. Waitrose installed the Touchpaper solution to support it's 1,600 IT users at its Bracknell headquarters, and a further 300 remote users.
