Double-Take Software Case Study: Hershey Entertainment and Resorts

Overview Hershey Entertainment and Resorts (HE&R) caters to the recreational pastimes of five million guests annually with over a dozen facilities, including a top amusement park, zoo, convention center, two hotels, four golf courses, three entertainment venues that include a 20,000-seat stadium- and that's just the start. The company wanted to consolidate and streamline data back-up, eliminating physical tape drives in eleven properties while ensuring a smooth experience for customers. The search for solutions produced a number of options, but none caught the HE&R team's attention as much as Double-Take. A demonstration of the options provided by Double-Take for data protection and high availability solutions helped finalize the decision.
