Overview Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Pfaffikon, Switzerland, Charles Vogele Group (Vogele) operates 788 clothing retail stores in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. The company wanted to increase security of vital business data; ensure very high availability for retail support systems; improve disaster-recovery capabilities. The company migrated to a twin data centre architecture, with a total of seven clustered IBM eserver pSeries model 655 servers, connected via IBM TotalStorage SAN Volume Controller to seven IBM TotalStorage DS4300 systems.
