Overview Winterflood Securities is a top provider of liquidity to stockbrokers servicing retail domestic and foreign markets. Winterflood needed to find a way to cost-effectively boost its bandwidth requirements, while ensuring seamless business continuity operations in the remote office that also serves as its software development facility. Upon the recommendation of Intech, a UK-based network solutions provider, Winterflood decided to test Expand's Accelerator 6810 appliances. Following the successful testing, Winterflood deployed the Accelerator 6810 appliances in strategic network locations to boost its WAN capacity, choosing bandwidth optimization over costly and time-consuming upgrades in its WAN.
