Building a Computer-literate Culture with the e-Sri Lanka PC

Overview To boost computer literacy among its citizenry, the island nation of Sri Lanka has initiated an innovative campaign called "e-Sri Lanka." The primary objective of e-Sri Lanka is to increase the number of households that are equipped with PCs and to improve Internet penetration throughout the country. Toward that end, Sri Lanka's Information and Communications Technology Agency (ICTA), in partnership with Intel and Red Hat India, introduced a low-cost PC—the "e-Sri Lanka PC"—which is available to all Sri Lankans through selected retail channels across the country. Download this Intel case study, sponsored by Red Hat, to learn more about the innovative e-Sri Lanka PC program and the unique partnerships that make it possible.
