Using VMware ESX Server System and VMware Virtual Infrastructure for Backup, Restoration, and Disaster Recovery
Overview Backup, restoration, and disaster recovery are among the most crucial elements of datacenter management. VMware ESX Server System and VMware Virtual Infrastructure provides many different capabilities to improve these processes each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Different environments favor different solutions. The flexibility provided by Virtual Infrastructure, allows ESX Server backup and restore procedures into the existing methodologies and procedures.
