Trend Micro Network VirusWall Protects FIC From Network Worms

Overview First International Computer, Inc. (FIC), founded in 1980, is one of the world's leading companies in the design and production of mainboards, PC systems, servers, and notebooks. Headquartered in Taipei, the manufacturer had previously experienced damage from network worms and was concerned about the damage that may be caused by new, more destructive threats. Although FIC sustained relatively minor damage from recent virus attacks, the company was increasingly alarmed by the speed with which network viruses were evolving and spreading. To address these concerns, FIC needed a proactive network security solution designed to detect, isolate, and update vulnerable PCs. To improve network security and effectively resolve threats posed by unmanaged PCs, FIC deployed Trend Micro Network VirusWall.
