Siemens HiPath Gives Howard University Students Voice, Data and Cable TV to Pillow

Overview The mission of Howard University is to provide an educational experience of superior quality to students of high academic potential, and a technologically-intensive environment. One critical element in creating this technologically-intensive environment at Howard was a project valued at $10.4 million that is now providing each of 4600 students living in 2904 rooms in 12 different dormitory buildings with easy access to the technologies that students have come to rely upon. ResNet II, the dormitory networking project, completed by Siemens Enterprise Networks, is selected comprised of solutions from Siemens HiPath enterprise convergence architecture.
