Overview To manage two new world-class hotels - a Ritz-Carlton and a JW Marriott with 1,585 total rooms in Orlando, Florida - Marriott International needed a flexible, scalable communications solution that could serve the entire resort's needs. Given that challenge plus the fact that the resort was the largest non-gaming hotel project to open in the United States during 2003, the communications challenges were substantial. They turned to Siemens and its HiPath Hospitality IP solution, based on the Siemens HiPath 4000 Real-Time IP System.
