Adobe Systems Case Study: Design and Architecture Senior High School (DASH)

Overview The Design and Architecture Senior High School (DASH) Web Design Academy prepares students for the development of interactive media in a dynamic, state-of-the-art technology environment. They wanted to implement a graphics and web design career program that could be communicated by teachers, and taught to students, with little assumed technical understanding and even, perhaps, limited initial interest in the subject. Students in 12 schools would participate in the new web academies, learning what it took to meet the demands of a real-world web project: working on a team, meeting deadlines, satisfying clients, and more. Apple provided a complete suite of web authoring software and hardware, as well as its Web Communication and Design curriculum developed by Macromedia and other technology partners.
