Safety Training Is Good Business for Unisys
Overview
Unisys is a global provider of information technology services to companies in the financial services, communications, transportation, commercial and media industries, as well as the public sector. Following the events of Sept. 11, 2001, the Unisys chairman at the time mandated once safety and security training. The ES&H team was also charged with decreasing workers' compensation claims. To address these issues, the team had to find a way to efficiently and cost-effectively provide training to a large, globally dispersed work force. In 2002, Unisys selected ES&H courseware provider GoTrain, which later became part of SkillSoft.
