Configuring IPv6 With Windows Vista

Overview Microsoft Windows Vista includes an implementation of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) that, unlike Windows XP, is installed and enabled by default. Although IPv6 is designed to be self-configuring, one can manually specify IPv6 configuration settings. This paper describes how to manually configure IPv6 in Windows Vista using the Windows graphical user interface and at a command line for the February Community Technology Preview (CTP) release of Windows Vista.
