Overview The survey presented in this paper highlights the need for everyone to focus on ways of improving efficiency in the use of technology in Local Government. Almost everyone agrees that ICT has a pivotal role to play, but there are still uncertainties as to how to leverage support and manageability improvements so that operational processes are made more effective.
